Washington’s 78th Annual Ridiculous Days returns June 5–8, 2025, bringing four days of unbeatable deals, family fun, and small-town charm to downtown Washington, Iowa. This beloved tradition, dating back to 1947, is the perfect kickoff to summer.

🛍️ Sidewalk Sales (June 5–7)

• 8:00 AM-6:30 PM: Life-Sized Candyland (Washington Public Library)
• 5:00 PM: Farmers’ Market featuring fresh produce and baked goods
• 5:00 PM: Kiddie Tractor Pull (registration at 5 PM; pulls begin at 5:30 PM)
• 5:30 PM: Performances by Studio E
• 7:45 PM: Washington Municipal Band Concert

Friday, June 6

• 8:00 AM-4:30 PM: Life-Sized Candyland (Washington Public Library)
• 1:00–5:00 PM: Free Swim at the Aquatic Center (first 175 swimmers)
• 5:00–8:00 PM: Ridiculously Cool Car Show showcasing classic rides & family activities
• 5:00–8:00 PM: Live music from The Mandela Effect with beverage tent

🎶 Street Dance Details
The Street Dance on Saturday night is a free event open to the public. The beverage tent will open after the parade concludes. Dance and sing along to all your favorite hits! Concert is open to all ages, must be 21 or older to purchase alcohol.
