Breakfast with Santa

Join us at the United Presbyterian Church from 8-10 am for Breakfast with Santa, brought to you by KCTC. The Washington Lion’s Club will be preparing a delicious pancake breakfast and Santa will be onsite to visit with children. Bring your camera to take your child’s photo with Santa & Mrs. Claus while listening to carolers sing Christmas tunes.

Tickets are $6 adults / $3 children 3 and over. They are available at the door or in advance from Main Street Washington.
The United Presbyterian Church is located at 209 E. Main Street

Jingle Bell Run

Sign up for this fun run around downtown full of Christmas Cheer! Costumes & themed attire welcomed and encouraged! Pre-register today & you’ll receive a t-shirt & jingle bells! Sign up the day of at JP’s 207 starting at 8 am. Race begins at 9 am. Proceeds support the Lights around the Square & Paws & More.

Small Business Saturday!
It’s the best day of the year to support your local businesses! Get out & shop small at the businesses who support our community all year long! More dollars stay within our local economy when you shop small. Those dollars support local schools, athletics, as well as services like police, fire department, and so much more! Shops are open until early afternoon, hours may vary.

Live Radio Play: Holiday Affairs

Join us outside the Washington Public Library and tune into KCII to listen and watch the Holiday Affairs Live Radio Play at 5pm.

HOLIDAY AFFAIR
Charming seasonal clerk Steve Mason catches beautiful Connie Ennis in a fraudulent shopping scheme during the busy Christmas rush. But when he discovers that Ennis is a war widow and single mother, Mason takes pity on her and can’t bring himself to turn her in. His supervisor takes notice and fires him on the spot. Mason befriends Connie and her young son, Timmy, and may complicate her plans to marry boring nice guy Carl Davis.

Downtown Lighting Ceremony & Lighted Parade
Join Main Street Washington at the Bandstand at 6 pm on Saturday November 26th for the Annual Lights of Love Memory trees ceremony. We’ll also fill you in on all the upcoming holiday events. Following the ceremony at 6:30 pm, the 27th Annual Lighted Holiday Parade kicks off and circles downtown, closed by a Special Guest. The Lighting Ceremony is brought to by the Washington Chamber of Commerce & the Parade is brought to you by Main Street Washington.
