Musical performance by Hot Tamale and the Red ‘Hots

Hot Tamale & the Red Hots first met in September of 2004. Cindy Grill moved to the Des Moines area about 18 months earlier, and had been looking for a full-time band. At the time we were thinking about starting up another blues band, however, we needed a vocalist. What luck! The rest, as they say, is history.Since January 2005, Hot Tamale & the Red Hots have been surprising blues music fans. To date, they have opened for such national acts as Kelley Hunt, Grinderswitch, Harper, and Dr. John, as well as performing at such events as the Bowlful of Blues festival and Rollin On The River festival.
