First Assembly of God Church

Washington First Assembly is about connection. We are a place where faith connects to community. We believe that there is more to Christianity than just going through religious rites and rituals. We believe that God’s desire is to have a personal relationship with us. At WFA we connect the truth of scripture with everyday life. We are a nontraditional church in our worship. We value all generations of people who choose to call WFA their home. Whether you are young or old we have something here at WFA for you.

WFA is pastored by Rev. W. David Watson a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God USA for over 10 years. Pastor Dave and his family began their pastorate here at WFA in February of 2014. Pastor Dave has served as a student ministry pastor, associate pastor and youth/children’s pastor. Prior to pastoring he was a music education teacher in the Dyer County and Hayti R2 School districts.
