Hospice of Washington County

Hospice of Washington County is a not-for-profit, community-based, stand-alone hospice and palliative care provider. We proudly serve the people of Henry, Jefferson, Johnson, Keokuk, Louisa, Muscatine and Washington counties since 1988. We are looking toward the future and making sure we can continue to serve our community members as a not-for-profit organization.

As Hospice care continues to grow and become a more widely used service at the end-of-life, so has the big business of hospice grown. Not all hospices are the same. There are several differences between for-profit and not-for-profit hospices. For instance, Hospice of Washington is a not-for-profit hospice and palliative care provider. We don’t charge our patients or their families for hospice or palliative care services. No family ever receives a bill from Hospice of Washington County
