6 Session Pass for $125. Each session includes lunch and you can send anyone from your organization. Available for Chamber members only.  Individual session sign-up $30 for Chamber members. $40 for non-members.  Lunch is provided at each session.  Location details will be sent prior to session.

The Washington Chamber of Commerce through its Government Relations Committee is committed to being a proactive voice for the business community. It is the Chamber’s goal to keep its members informed on issues that affect them and to facilitate communication between the business community and all levels of government.

Our Future Workforce

Workforce has become the number one issue of employers across the state of Iowa. Increasing demand for many occupations has been met with demographic challenges and continuing skills gap issues. Companies are experiencing difficulties in filling positions, dampening their opportunities for business growth.

The Washington Business Partnership’s role is to serve as a champion for employers as they work to solve their immediate and long term talent and workforce challenges. We approach workforce as a critical supply chain issue and serve as a catalysts to help assure cooperation, collaboration, communication, timeliness and accountability across regional workforce efforts. We support local, regional and state workforce initiatives that have a direct impact on employers. We work diligently to maximize our area’s unique assets and value in attracting and retaining talent.The Washington Chamber has several partnerships that focus on the future workforce. By establishing relationships with area school districts, it enables the Chamber to support future workforce partnerships such as  Workplace Learning Connection, which provides partnership opportunities between our local business and student job shadows.  Info on touring manufacturing/schools

Chamber’s Learn at Lunch or Chamber Breakfast 

  • Members can host informational lunch programs targeted in educate certain sectors of the community
  • Scheduled as requested
  • Typically at noon, last one hour, and lunch is hosted by your business
  • Chamber will promote event in newsletters, social media, create & distribute posters
  • $30 Promotional fee
