    Erik is the principal of St. James Elementary. Before that, he served as the Principal of the Washington Hight School from 2011 – 2021, WHS Dean of Students from 2010-2011, was a science teacher from 2003 to 2010 and taught several other subjects from 1997 to 2003. He graduated from WHS and gut his undergraduate degree from Wartburg and his Administration Degree from the University of Iowa. His wide Christy is a Clinical lab Scientist for the Veterans Administration They have two daughters, Kaitlin and Jessie.
