Washington Free Public library believes in the freedom to read and learn, and the freedom to compare and express ideas. WFPL strives to provide educational, cultural and social enrichment to all residents of the city of Washington and surrounding areas. The public library offers a variety of services, collections, and adult/intergenerational programs.
The Washington Public Library is located on the south side of the Washington Square at 115 W. Washington Street. The facility offers a variety of services to the residents of Washington, Brighton, Ainsworth, Washington County, and patrons of other libraries in Iowa.
