Notice of Public Hearing

The City of Washington, Iowa, is hereby serving as Public Notice that on March 4, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., the City Council will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers at City Hall to consider vacating the all currently platted right-of-ways between 4^th and 6^th Avenues and 11^th and 13^th Streets as per the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission.

Citizens are encouraged to attend and express their preferences about the right-of-way vacation.  Anyone having questions about this project or the upcoming hearing may call the City Clerk at 319-653-6584.
