REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS MOVING OF RESIDENTIAL HOUSE AT
2550HWY 1 WASHINGTON, IOWA

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals for the acquisition and moving of the residential house at 2550 Hwy 1, Washington, Iowa will be accepted.

Sealed proposals must be received in the Office of the City Clerk, 215 E. Washington Street, Washington, Iowa 52333, no later than Wednesday, November 29th at 4:00 p.m.
The envelope(s) shall be clearly marked “MOVING OF RESIDENTIAL HOUSE.”

By making a proposal on this Project, the bidder represents that the bidder has examined the property in question. Any questions about the meaning or intent of the specifications must be submitted three business days prior to the opening of the proposals. The residential house is being offered in an “AS IS” condition without warranties.

The winning bidder will enter into a city contract incorporating the terms of the bidder’s proposal.

Each proposal shall be completed on a form furnished by the City. The special terms and conditions surrounding the project may be examined at the office of the City Clerk. Copies of said special terms and conditions and form of proposal blanks may be secured at City Hall, by bona fide bidders.

The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities or irregularities and to enter into such contract as it shall deem to be in the best interests of the City. The City Council reserves the right to defer acceptance of any proposal for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the bid.
