South E Paving Project Updates

This fall, the City expects to start construction on the reconstruction of South Avenue E from Sitler Drive to West Lincoln Street.  This project will include new upsized water main between Sitler and Buchanan.  Sidewalk will be extended on the east side of South E plus on the north side of Lincoln to the Timber Ridge development.  The project is the last major project needed prior to the paving of West Buchanan from the wastewater plant road to South E, which is expected to take place in 2021.

On June 16, the construction contract for the project was awarded to DeLong Construction of Washington.
