Beginning in 2017, Main Street Washington has been helping community members and businesses honor or memorialize those dear to us through the Lights of Love Memory Tree project. Each holiday season 5 foot tall Christmas Trees are lit in Central Park from Thanksgiving to New Years, illuminated with White Lights & a Red Bow. There is a limited number available so don’t wait, reserve your tree(s) today!

Each honoree will be announced as the memorial trees and Downtown Washington are illuminated on the night of November 30th during our Holiday SNOW Lighting Ceremony and Lighted Holiday Parade. Trees will remain lit throughout the Holiday Season. All trees are tax deductible donations & benefit the continued work of Main Street Washington.

Donors are encouraged to decorate their loved one’s tree. Main Street Washington strongly encourages shatterproof ornaments. Trees will remain in Central Park until New Years. They will be taken down in early January, weather permitting.
