Community Blood Drive – Thursday, October 15, 1:30-6:30 PM. United Presbyterian Church, 209 East Washington Street, Washington, Iowa.NO WALK-INS ACCEPTED.  YOU MUST HAVE AN APPOINTMENT.   Optimist Club of Washington is the host to this event.  Local coordinator is Don Pfeiffer  319-653-4912.

Become a new blood donor.  Your blood donation can save up to nine lives.   38% of the population are eligible to donate blood, but only 10% do so.  Consider becoming a donor as your personal community service project.  Contact Don Pfeiffer, blood drive coordinator with the Optimist Club of Washington to learn more about giving blood to save the lives of others – Contact Don Pfeiffer   319-653-4912. The process will take about one hour.
