Juneteenth Celebration and Recognition

Washington for Justice in partnership with the Washington Public Library will be hosting a Juneteenth Recognition event on Monday evening June 19th at 6:30 pm. There will be a short ceremony with guest speakers and then a showing a a movie provided by the Library. This film will be followed up by a community discussion about the meaning of Juneteenth, and how our community can be a welcoming and inclusive community for all. The film is recommended for students age 13 and up. (PG-13)
