Legislative Briefings 2025

We are pleased to announce the 2025 dates for the Washington County Legislative Briefings! This is a wonderful opportunity to hear updates and engage in conversations with our area legislators:

• Dawn Driscoll, Iowa State Senator, District 46

• Friday, January 17: Noon
• Thursday, February 20: 5:30 PM
• Friday, March 14: Noon

Location: City of Washington Council Chambers, 215 E Washington St

Event Details:

• Open to residents within Washington County.
• 1-Hour Format: Includes a 20-minute update from legislators and 30 minutes of comments/questions from the public.
• ​Please note, attendees are welcome to bring a sack lunch. No food or beverages will be provided.

These sessions are your chance to stay informed about legislative activities, ask questions, and discuss matters that are important to our community. We encourage all members of the community to attend and participate in these valuable discussions.
