Red Flag Horseless Carriage Motor Tour

Participants will gather for introductions and a drivers meeting on Wednesday evening, then the official tour starts Thursday. Tour routes vary each year and traditionally run between 50 and 75 miles per day. For 2021, Thursday’s excursion will include a trip to Washington, Iowa, with a special visit to the world’s oldest continuous operating cinema theater. Thursday night, back in Mount Pleasant, drivers and their passengers will enjoy a meal at one of the local restaurants. Friday the group takes off to explore Cantril, Iowa, with stops along the way and back. The Signature Event is will be held on Saturday – a journey from New London, Iowa to Brighton, Iowa.
