A hand weaving technique that emphasizes and prioritizes creativity and free expression. No rules, no fear – freedom to use many different weaving materials and colors in non-standard ways. No expectations of smooth surfaces, or even salvages, or symmetry of design. Weaving materials often involve many colors and textures; yarns of all types and sizes; ribbons; fabric strips; sticks; feathers; wire; beads and other bobbles; natural materials.
