Washington’s Summer Classic is 4 day kick-off to summer festival that highlights everything our town stands for — featuring agriculture, family, local shopping, music, food and our Latino community.
This festival began in 2014 with the 175th anniversary celebration of the City of Washington and has continued in a condensed version since then. Always held the first full weekend in June, we kick-off the weekend with Ag Day on Thursday, feature Family Day on Friday, and host the state’s longest running Ridiculous Day on Saturday; all of which are located in Central Park.
On Saturday night, we head out to the Washington Municipal Airport to hear live music for Flightline Live event. We conclude the 4 day festival on Sunday morning at the Airport for the Fly-In breakfast, then we head back to Central Park to conclude the Summer Classic with our famous Latino Festival!
With over 100 different activities and over a dozen food trucks, there is something to please everyone!
