City of Washington -Seasonal Cemetery Position

Cemetery Department is currently seeking applicants to fill temporary positions. The positions are considered seasonal and will begin in April 2024 then extend to October/November 2024 (weather dependent).

Duties will vary daily depending on weather, but may include: maintenance of cemetery grounds including mowing and trimming, watering and mulching trees, general yard work, responsible for maintaining cemetery equipment and possibly assisting other city departments

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid Iowa driver’s license and have the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Position pay is determined by the applicant’s knowledge.
