What Washington Offers You & Your Family

I am so thankful for the community Washington provides for my children and I to make memories together. I feel they have made a great commitment and investment in positively growing the families of this community. Every time we attend an event, I’m impressed with the helpful people there and ways they are investing in my children too to be well rounded. There are a variety of scheduled annual events in Washington my children wouldn’t let me miss – the Washington County Fair, Fly In Breakfast, Holiday Lighted Parade, tractor parade. My kids would spend hours at the library with their caring staff and wonderful facilities. The downtown square is not only picturesque but a place they have come to love for Farmers Market and Movie on the Wall. One night a week all summer and fall we rotated to visit a different park to play and explore and every time they said, “This is the best one!”. Although I won’t rush it, I do look forward to when they let go of my hand a little more and get to experience our 4-H program, community theater, and YMCA youth sports more. For my young family I know, the best is yet to come in what Washington offers us.
