Washington Community Center Auditions for Mary Poppins
April 7 – 7pm – 9pm
April 9 & 10 – 2pm – 5pm
Location: WHS band room (Park in the back parking lot and come in the band entrance by the greenhouse.) 1111 South Ave B Washington, Iowa
Preparations: Fill out audition form at the time of auditions (will be printed and at the door)Reading preparations: Selections from the script will be given at the time of audition. Do your best to practice a British/English dialect. There will be many parts available for this play!
Singing preparation: please prepare a solo (or part of a solo if trying out for the chorus only) of your choice and provide your own accompaniment (can be a person or a track). If you are auditioning for a lead, it is strongly suggested that you prepare a solo from the show. You can print legal copies of music from www.musicnotes.com or bring your own books or music. We will have a sound system available. Everyone will be expected to sing in the show if you are planning to be on stage. Questions – [email protected]
