North 4th Avenue Project

The City is undertaking a project to reconstruct North 4th Avenue from East 5th to East 7th Street, including the intersections of those streets.  The project also includes new storm sewer, a new water main, a new sanitary sewer, and reconstructed sidewalks.  Upsized water main will be extended to East 10th Street.  The general contractor for the project is Cornerstone Excavating of Washington.

As of June 16, repair of the sewer collapse at the railroad tracks was added by change order to the project.  This work was completed August 29.  Full plans for this change order are available below.
