Washington Businesses Open for Business:

Washington First Assembly of God– Re-Open to Public. Online services, Sundays 10am LIVE via Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/revwdavewatson.  Online opportunities for Bible Study.

The Village– Regular Store Hours Monday through Friday 10 am – 6 pm, Saturday 10 am – 4 pm. Please call 653-4899 or knock on the door during business hours to make an appointment. Masks are encouraged, social distancing will be respected.

Cafe Dodici– Open for dinner Wednesday-Saturday, 5-8 p.m.. Order online at cafedodici.com or by calling 319-653-4012.

Dodici’s Shop-Open. Hours Monday-Friday 7 am – 2 pm & Saturday 8 am – 2 pm. Customers are welcome to call ahead 653-4712 & pay over the phone. Customers are kindly asked to wear a mask when entering the shop.

ABC Nails: Open for regular business hours on May 25th.

Jaz it Up– Open for regular business hours.

Follow Your Arrow– Re-Opening by appointment only on May 16th. Call 653-4826 for an appointment.

Paneless Window Cleaning– Open for business. See them for exterior window cleaning specials. Also offering discounted gift certificates for later services. 319-333-6401

For Heaven’s Sake Child Care– 6am-6pm, drop-in available by request. (319) 653-3749.  Ask for discounted rates for healthcare workers and essential employees.

Simply Spa– Will be closed until further notice

Washington Lumber & Home Center-Open regular hours; Monday – Thursday 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Friday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Saturday(5/9) 8:00 AM – Noon. Thank you for your patience. Stay safe!

HyVee– Hours changed, 7-8 am: Open to Elderly, High Risk, or Expectant Mothers; 8 am – 8 pm Open to the General Public. Restaurant, Dining Areas, & Stores closed. Deli is carry-out only.

Fareway– Hours updated 8-9 am Open to Elderly, High Risk, or Expectant Mothers; 9 am – 7 pm Open to the General Public

Walmart– Hours updated Monday through Sunday 7 am to 8:30 pm; pharmacy & pick up hours vary.  Open at 6 a.m. on Tuesday mornings going forward for customers 60+ to shop.

Dollar General East– Hours updated 8 am to 7 pm

Dollar General West– Hours updated 8 am to 9 pm

KCTC– Monday-Friday 9:30am-6 pm, Saturday 9am-2pm

Vetter’s Culligan Water– Open 8-4:30 Monday through Friday for delivery or pick up at store. Call ahead 319-653-6565.

Ross Auto– Ross Auto will be closed the week of May 18th for some building maintenance & improvements, they will be taking appointments for the week of May 26th. Call 653-5656.

Mango Jaziel Refresqueria– Open Saturdays 2-7:30 p.m. & Sundays 2-7 p.m.

KCTC– Our store and lobby are closed to the public, but KCTC & iTech are still here for you.  We will continue to serve you with curbside service or by appointment only.  Please call KCTC at 319-656-3668 or iTech at 319-591-2001.

Beauty with Grace Salon Studio–Will be closed until further notice.

Ace-N-More–New Hours M-F 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Saturday 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Please call 319-653-6700 for questions or to utilize our curbside pick-up or delivery service during business hours. Shop online at acenmore.com or use the Ace Hardware app.

L.J. Roth Restoration Service-We Are Open! As we all face this challenging time the health and safety of everyone is top priority. Unfortunately things can still happen with or without COVID-19 and we want to make sure that you know our services are still available in those times of need, rather it be Fire, Water, Storm or Mold Mitigation, we are here and available. Goodwill- Donation center ONLY in Washington open beginning Monday May 11th. Open to shoppers on Friday, May 15^th.  Hours of operation for donating and shopping will be reduced to Monday – Saturday from 11 am – 6 pm and Sunday from 12 pm – 5 pm until further notice. Customers are kindly asked to wear a mask when in the store.

Pizza Ranch– Open Monday-Thursday 4 pm – 8 pm, Friday 4 pm- 9 pm, Saturday 11 am – 9 pm, Sunday 11 am – 8 pm.  Drive thru, curbside carry out, & delivery free if your order online, $2-4 depending on zone if you call.  Delivery not available between the hours of 2-4:30 p.m.  319-653-5553.

Ainsworth Four Corners & Fuel Stop-Open 6 a.m.-8 p.m. for takeout orders.  Convenience store has fresh food made daily as well and open 24 hours a day.  319-657-3200.

Dairy Mart- Open beginning Saturday, April 4th from 11 a.m.-8 p.m.

Dino’s Pizza & Steakhouse– Open for Carry Out starting 5/12 Hours 11 am to 8 pm daily. Call 653-5014 to order.

Archer TV & Appliance– Currently have reduced hours which are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, Saturday 8am-1pm, & Sunday 12-3. Offering virtual meetings to look at phones & features as well as digital document signing to conclude your business remotely. Offering curbside pickup at the store.

Panda Palace Chinese– Reopened to Carry-Out or Delivery on April 30th. Call 653-6888 to order.

Unc & Neph’s: Opening May 26th, Hours Monday-Friday, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. & 4-8 p.m.Saturday & Sunday, 11 a.m.-8 p.m.

Don’s Jewelry & Design – For the safety and health of our wonderful customers and staff, we have moved to an appointment only model. We would still love to help you anyway we can. If you have a repair or order to pick up, please call the store number 319-653-2015 or text 319-774-8153 to coordinate with us. We apologize for this inconvenience. We will be monitoring our messages by text, email, Facebook messenger, or leave a message on our answering machine and we will get back to you as soon as possible. JET Physical Therapy–We are continuing normal business hours of 7:30 to 5:30. We are screening patients based on their current health and past medical history. We will be providing telehealth sessions starting next week. Please contact our clinic if you have questions related to our telehealth services.

Washington County Mini Bus– The Washington County Mini Bus is open for business. We are transporting passengers in Washington County only. Our normal business hours are 7am – 5pm Monday – Friday. We are transporting passengers for essential needs only grocery store, work, medical needs. Any questions call 319-653-2853 and ask for Cris.

Earthly Blessings– Opening 5/5 Tuesday through Saturday 10 am – 2 pm. Please call 653-1004 or knock on the door during business hours to make an appointment. Masks are encouraged, social distancing will be respected.

 

Government:
City of Washington– City Hall closed to public, staff available by appointment. Please call 653-6584. Various online services available- see https://washingtoniowa.gov/news-stories/coronavirus-covid-19/ for more information.

Washington County Offices– Closed until further notice. You may conduct your business online, drop payments or documents into the box outside, or mail payments to: PO Box 889, Washington, IA 52353

Washington Public Library– Open for curbside pick up in front of the library as the first phase of reopening. Book-drops closed, Overdue materials will be automatically renewed. Fines will not accrue during this closure. Call 319-653-2726 to order books and movies.

 

Banks:

Washington State Bank– Branch Lobbies closed to the public starting 3/19, drive-thru & night drop off still available.

Federation Bank– Branch lobbies are by appointment only as of 3/18. Drive-Up is still available. Please use online banking or call branch for additional assistance.

Community 1st Credit Union– Effective 3/19 closing lobby to appointment only, drive through will be open regular hours

US Bank– Lobby: temporarily closed, Drive up and walk up vestibule service M-F 9:30-11:00 a.m. and 12:00-4:00 p.m. Saturday, 9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Customers are still able to access their accounts through our mobile, online, 24 hour call centers, and ATM channels. We will continue to process items from our night depository twice daily, and customers can still access their local banker by calling us at 319-653-5441.

Hills Bank– Drive Up Service only, please call 319-863-7817 for assistance.

CBI Bank– As of today, 3/19/2020, our lobby is closed but our drive-up and night drop remain open. Regular business hours of 8-5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday 9-12.  At this time, we will accept scheduled appointments.

Business & Services:

Ann C. Williams Farm Bureau– Office Closed. Will be working remotely, please call 653-3232 or 461-2511 to speak with an associate.

Lending Hands– Closed until further notice

UP Home Wellness– Closed until further notice

Paws & More– PAWS and More Animal Shelter in Washington is closed to the public. Visit their website for information on adoption and accepting strays

YMCA– All fitness facilities are closed until further notice.

RePurpose It!-  Lobby closed to the public, however you can call in a paint order and we will fill it and meet you at the door by calling our number 319-653-2287 or FB message me. We are working on projects with a safe social distance.

Kirkwood Community College– All lecture classes will remain online for the remainder of the term, and all Face-to-Face labs or hands-on courses are currently suspended. The Kirkwood Regional Center is closed to the public, staff will be working remotely off campus & are available by phone or email. Facilities are scheduled to re-open on May 4th.

Washington Community School District – Washington Schools are closed until further notice.

Washington County Conservation Board– Washington County Conservation Board has closed the Conservation Education Center

Blissed Out Movement– All classes being offered online only via Zoom. Sign Up at blissedoutmovement.com

Ainsworth Opera House– Has cancelled or rescheduled all events planned now through April 30th.

Riverside Casino – Facilities closed, All events cancelled until April 30th

Off the Top Barber Shop– Closed until June 2nd. He will start accepting appointments after Memorial Day, to schedule call 319-461-1613.

Art Domestique– Closed until further notice.  Will open for appointments only.
