WASHINGTON, IA – Chamber Ambassador President, Elainie Turner, completed her 12 month presidency term at the of 2022. Rising into her place is Kara Booth and Stacey Reese will be serving as Vice President in 2023.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Ambassadors the past few years, as well as holding the presidency this last year,’ remarked Elainie Turner, CPA at LattaHarris. ‘Being a part of this organization has allowed me to grow so many relationships both professionally and personally, as well as gave me so much insight to all the wonderful businesses and business owners we have in Washington. We are so lucky to have an organization that celebrates the hard work of everyone who makes this community successful.”
Newly elected President Kara Booth, Marketing & Business Development Director at Washington State Bank also commented about her excitement to lead the organization. “I truly enjoy being a part of the Washington Chamber Ambassadors. Meeting and interacting with other members of the community at our quarterly meetings is something I always look forward to. We discuss the changes we see happening in our area and look for positive ways we can impact that. It’s always fun to watch Washington grow and to be able to celebrate with the businesses that make that possible is special.”
“Coming from a smaller community, I’m so impressed with how active and dedicated the Chamber is with the business community”, said Stacey Reese, HR/Recruiting Manager for Greiner Buildings. “I have enjoyed the past year being an Ambassador with a great group of people and honestly, have been quite surprised at the number of celebrations that I have been involved with as an Ambassador. Washington’s business community is thriving! I am honored to be a part of it and am pleased to accept the VP position.”
