Oktober Madness Begins in Washington

Washington, Iowa  —  September 30, 2019

The Chamber would like to announce our new Oktober Madness calendar for 2019. We have a full month of events from businesses across the county leading up to our last event, the Annual Trick-or-Treat Around the Square.  This particular event brings around 800 Trick-or-Treaters.   Local businesses on the square hand out candy and children can participate in free activities such as hayrides, pony rides, games and a meal.

Choctoberfest is a brand new event that will be held on Thursday, October 17th from 5-8 pm.  This event invites participants to take a stroll around downtown Washington and sample a wide variety of chocolates, all while shopping and enjoying Fall in Iowa.  You can visit our website to see all participating businesses and more details about this event:
