Green Top Stables Country Getaway

Well it’s that time of year when the children look to the sky hoping to catch a glimpse of Rudolph and his fellow Reindeer pulling Santa’s sleigh. But as I look out my window and see the frosty steam from my horses noses on this cold Winter’s morn, I am reminded how magical God’s creature, the horse, truly is. I have a wooden sign that states “If God made anything more beautiful than horses, He kept it for Himself”. To me the horse is a majestic animal. Someone wrote “…when I look at my horse, I see my hopes dreams.” As a child, I have always had a fascination for horses. My husband and I talked about buying a horse named Belle. For 25 years and many horses later, we’ve enjoyed breeding/owning many beautiful American Quarter Horses.  My dream of owning a stables has come to fruition-Green Top Stables in Riverside, Iowa.

Green Top Stables is a place where families and friends can stay the night at the Wrangler’s House thru Airbnb and where children can come to camp and experience God’s love through riding horses, fishing, and Bible study. The stables sits on 32 acres of rolling hills along with two fully stocked ponds. Overnight guest can enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise as the horses graze alongside the gleaming waters of the pond. Come and join us in this country experience!
